L?ad?rship M??ting

This Friday was the long awaited and eagerly anticipated...wait for it...LEADERSHIP MEETING! Held every year, this meeting is more of a re-union occasion where the students lose track of time as they catch up with what their fellow leaders have been up to these holidays, how they missed eachother, when their next tea party is gonna be, who did their hair....and the list goes on. Sure by now you have catched on that these are mostly the ladies comment but on the contrary the guys rave about the latest guitar chords...hmmm - all of a sudden I forgot what the guys where speaking about. Ridiculous lol - don't judge me!!! Anyway the meeting was a great success as we were able to reconnect all the student leaders to the mission of campus ministry, relaying the foundation not too think though of what CRU@UKZN is all about. Time was taken and we spoke about numerous branches of the ministry such as discipleship on the campus, community projects and core groups, importantly the campus outreaches that are to take place at the different campuses (while we off to ministry training in Pretoria).

Guess who decided to drop in...Alyssa Monda. We manage to hook her up on skype and our students really had a great time speaking to her as she spurred us on! Though she is still in the States, she is still so much passionate about what the Lord has done and still is to do with campus ministry through the leadership, and agreeably enough, I side with her. What was more remarkable is when she prayed for the students, their campuses, and the ministry. I miss her, we all miss her.
