Weekend rounder

With their first night moving into Concorde Guest House as half of their team moves over to Port Shepstone to serve with Jason, the MK2MK team had to undergo Smart Choices Training. For me to have to train them on it, was interesting as I had never training a team before but they made it very easy for me and though I did alot of mishaps, especially with the crystal experiment, they were gracious and laughed it all out. We had a good weekend ending on a high and low note on Saturday. The Sharks were out and about at the Shark Tank against the Toyota Cheetahs so we decided to take our foreign friends for a good old rugby match. They had lots of fun and learnt the sports all together but unforunately one of the young gentleman had to be rushed to Westville Hospital, one of the congrete decorations had accidently fallen on his big toe. We so amazed and glad that it just missed his toe bone, only a painful broken toe nail and skin tear. He was admitted and had surgery the following day to remove the nail and 2 stitches! Praise the Lord his doing okay and recovering at the guesthouse, he was discharged the following day. Please be praying for his speedy recovery, I quite sure he doesn't want to spend his summer on crutches!

Keeping in hood hahaha

Trainers for the day: Ellis, Mpumi, myself, Dot

Family who provided lunch for use so so so delicious

My team has also been working with the Summer Project who have been spending their time this week at Newlands and Cator Manor. Seems like they are having themselves an amazing ministry there and with so much stories of how people in those communities are receiving prayer, testimonies of how the Lord has been working one in particular by one of our student who had prayed for a father inside his home for him and his family! Activities included showing the Jesus Film, open air evangelism, door to door evangelism, vacation bible club, sports ministry!
